Below is a list of some of the main features of our mobile home insurance policy:
- Fixtures, fittings, aerials, satellite dishes, any veranda, decking and shed are covered (your sum insured should be calculated taking these into account).
- Loss or damage to household goods, personal effects and luggage whilst contained in the unit, if shown in the schedule.
- Reasonable costs, up to €500, for removing the structure to the nearest repairer and its redelivery to your address in Ireland as a result of an insured loss.
- €100 per day, up to a maximum of €500, towards alternative accommodation if your unit is made uninhabitable during a holiday period (only as a result of an insured loss).

Ensure your water system is fully drained down between the 1st of October and the 31st of March annually and the water turned off by a stopcock.

Review your sums insured each year as this may influence your mobile home insurance premium.

It is advisable the your structure sum insured should include the mobile home and any decking and shed that you have. Note that your contents should include the contents in your unit and also what is contained in your shed.

Before reducing your sums insured, do some market research. This will give you peace of mind that you are not under-insuring your mobile home.
